INFORMATION FOR KANAWHA COUNTY PUBLIC PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASSES

Orientation for Private Preschool parents and children will be held on Tuesday, September 2.  School officially starts on Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

We offer:  EARLY ARRIVAL CARE - FROM 7:30 am
                AFTERNOON AFTER SCHOOL CARE until 5:00 PM
                PLAYHOUSE (see below) Morning care for those days the Pre K class does not meet

INFORMATION FOR BREAM CENTER PRESCHOOL CLASSES

Morning class arrival:   classrooms open to arriving children 8:30 am 
        class begins:  8:45 am
        dismissal:  11:45 am
EARLY ARRIVAL is available from 7:30-8:30 am.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE is available from the time class is dismissed until 5:00 pm.
    Children staying for AFTER SCHOOL CARE must bring a lunch from home.  We cannot provide refrigeration or heating up for lunches.


PLAYHOUSE PROGRAM

The Playhouse is a morning care option for children no younger that 18 months who are secure walkers.  It may be used for children who are not yet old enough for the 2's class; for occasional childcare needs; for Public Pre K children on the days their class does not meet.

The Playhouse offers care from 7:30 am --11:30 am, at a rate of $20.00 a morning.

Those who have standing reservations for one day or more weekly will pay at a monthly rate.


As the month of Fantastic February approach us, we have lots of countless things happening at Bream Center.

On February 3rd and February 4th, Dr. Skaff's office will be visiting the school to recognize Dental Health Month.  Our Valentine Day parties will be held on Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday, February 11th.

The Bream staff will attend Celebration Connections sponsored by West Virginia Department of Education on February 25th and 26th.  The objective for this conference is for staff to learn how to promote effective an positive practices when working with children.  School will be closed these two days.

A transition to Kanawha County Public PreK will be held on Thursday, March 4th at 6:00 pm in the Chapel.  All parents who are interested in their child attending Public PreK at Bream Center should be present for this important meeting.  Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2010 to participate in this program.

Registration for the 2010 - 2011 school year will start the first week in March.  For more information, contact the center at 304-346-2551.

Community Fun Day at Bob Evans in South Charleston
It's a fun, food filled day that helps Bream Center raise money.  Fliers will be distributed and must be presented to cashier on the day of the event.  Bob Evans will donate 15% of our total check back to us.  So come to Bob Evans on March 21.
